Intel ISEF Interpreter Badge

Individuals who serve as an interpreter for a student finalist during fair-week judging earn an Intel ISEF Interpreter Badge. This responsibility is at minimum a 10-hour commitment and is a critical role to support those who do not speak English as their first language. Many interpreters supported several students throughout the judging day to ensure that each was provided a fair and equitable judging opportunity by supporting interpretation of judge questions and/or student responses without speaking on behalf of the student finalist.
